Hormones are derived from components within our diet. This means we can classify hormones based on their chemical structure. There are hormones that are derived out of amino acids and hormones that are derived out of cholesterol. Using credible sources, identify a hormone within the body and discuss what it is derived out of, where it is secreted from, and the role of that hormone within the body.
